NYC Grocery Stores are City-owned stores designed to deliver affordable, high-quality, culturally relevant, and accessible groceries that provide meaningful savings for New Yorkers and strengthen neighborhood food access citywide.
One location is planned for each borough as part of this initiative. The first store is anticipated to open in 2027, and all five are expected to open by 2029.
La Marqueta will be the Manhattan NYC Grocery store location, and it is expected to open in 2029.
