NYC Grocery Stores are City-owned stores designed to deliver affordable, high-quality, culturally relevant, and accessible groceries that provide meaningful savings for New Yorkers and strengthen neighborhood food access citywide.
One location is planned for each borough as part of this initiative. All five are expected to open by 2029.
The Peninsula will be the Bronx location and is anticipated to open in 2027. La Marqueta will be the Manhattan location and is expected to open in 2029.
