To build momentum ahead of the application opening, the City is launching a citywide 2-K Jingle Contest. New Yorkers can submit original 15 or 30-second jingles encouraging families to apply.

A panel of special guest judges will review submissions before New Yorkers vote to select a winner. This spring, the City will announce the top 5 finalists and open voting to New Yorkers. The winning entry will become the official 2-K theme for New York City and play on the radio.

The final deadline to submit a jingle is May 1 at 11:59 PM.

All submissions must comply with the 2-K Jingle Contest rules. Only one entry is allowed per person. You must be over the age of 18 at time of entry and a resident of New York City.

Learn more about the 2-K Jingle Contest guidelines and submit a 2-K jingle.
