The Mayor has scheduled public Rental Ripoff Hearings for New York City tenants to share their housing experiences and concerns.
Registration is required, and in-person participants will be able to record testimony or sign up for one-on-one conversations with City officials.
City leaders from agencies focused on tenant stability, housing quality, and consumer protection will be there to listen.
The hearings will be held in all five boroughs:
- Thursday, February 26 from 5:30 PM - 8:30 PM, Downtown Brooklyn
- Thursday, March 5 from 5:30 PM - 8:30 PM, Long Island City, Queens
- Wednesday, March 11 from 5:30 PM - 8:30 PM, Fordham, The Bronx
- Saturday, March 28 from 11 AM – 5 PM, East Harlem, Manhattan
- Tuesday, April 7 from 5:30 PM - 8:30 PM, North Shore, Staten Island
