Need something else?

As part of the NYC Plaza program, the Department of Transportation (DOT) works with selected organizations to create neighborhood plazas throughout the City.

Public pedestrian plazas transform underused streets into vibrant, social public spaces. Plazas may include tables, seating, trees, plants, lighting, bike racks, public art, and drinking fountains.

You can report a public plaza that:

  • Has graffiti or dirt/litter/debris
  • Has damaged or missing drinking fountains, furniture, bollards, granite blocks, or planters
  • Needs furniture removal, such as benches, chairs, or tables
  • Needs surface treatment/paving
  • Needs snow removal
