The Office of Technology and Innovation (OTI) has launched the MyCity website.

MyCity helps New Yorkers easily search, apply for, and track City services and benefits. Users can also securely save their information and documents to their account for future applications. MyCity can be translated into 10 languages.

The NYC childcare financial assistance application as well as streamlined business services are available through MyCity.

OTI will continue developing MyCity with other City agencies and based on feedback from the public.

You can create a MyCity account by creating:

  • An NYC.ID, or
  • By using an email or userID that you already have with an application, such as Google or Microsoft. 
    • Using an existing ID or userID other than NYC.ID is called using a "third-party application."

NYC.ID Login

Follow these steps to create a MyCity account and log-in with NYC.ID:

  1. Go to the MyCity homepage.
  2. Click the Login Or Create an Account link in the top right menu.
  3. Click the Create Account link under the login fields.
  4. Fill in the NYC.ID account creation form and then click Create Account.
  5. If you created an account using your email, check your inbox for the automated email to validate your email address.

Third-Party Login

Follow these steps to create a MyCity account using a third-party login:

  1. Go to the MyCity homepage.
  2. Click the Login Or Create an Account link in the top right menu.
  3. Locate and click your preferred third-party application and select the account you want to use to access your MyCity account in the future.
  4. Follow the prompts provided by your selected third-party application to activate your MyCity account.

Once you have logged in, complete the profile to set up your account:

  1. Fill out the form with your personal information.
  2. Check the box under Terms to indicate your consent to the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
  3. Click the Create Account button at the bottom of the page.

MyCity works best when using a desktop computer, laptop computer, or mobile device with internet access.
