Car-Free Earth Day is an annual car-free event hosted by NYC Department of Transportation (DOT).

On Saturday, April 26, select streets will open to pedestrians and cyclists in all five boroughs in celebration of Earth Day.

You can also participate in cultural activities and educational workshops, including:

• Dance
• Fitness
• Games
• Helmet giveaways
• Music

Activities will take place from 10 AM to 4 PM.

Earth Day community programming and public art will be presented at signature and partner produced locations citywide.

On April 26, Citi Bike will offer free unlimited 30-minute rides on a classic Citi Bike for 24 hours.
