This program does not provide direct funding. It connects you with the appropriate resources. Many incentives and rebates can help you cover energy upgrade or retrofit costs.
HVAC Contractors can also apply to join the program as an installer and receive homeowner leads.
How it Works
ElectrifyNYC staff meet with you in your home to learn about your home improvement goals.
Staff will help identify upgrades that:
- Reduce energy costs
- Improve indoor air quality
- Make your home more environmentally friendly
The program focuses on:
- Rooftop solar
- Air-source heat pumps
- Other home energy efficiency measures
If you choose to proceed with any improvements, ElectrifyNYC can help with:
- Finding a contractor
- Evaluating bids
- Managing the installation process
