Open Storefronts is a temporary program that allows ground-floor storefront businesses to conduct retail activity on sidewalks directly in front of their business, or on roadways in the Open Streets: Restaurants program. Open Storefront sites can operate from October 30 to December 31, 2020.

If you are a store owner, you must apply for Open Storefronts authorization to sell goods or offer services to customers on sidewalks or eligible roadways.

Authorized businesses that display merchandise or have a Stoop Line Stand License do not need to apply to the Open Storefronts program to conduct sales of existing eligible merchandise.
