You can donate new or gently used coats to the New York Cares Coat Drive. Homeless shelters, community organizations, and groups assisting people in need will distribute the coats.

You can donate coats at all NYPD police precincts (Donations accepted 24/7).

You can also donate at the New York Cares Coat Drive Warehouse, located at 157 West 31st Street between 6th and 7th Avenues in Manhattan. It is open Monday to Friday from 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM.

Before dropping off items at the warehouse, you can call (646) 801-4022 to make an appointment for a staff member to meet you and collect the items or to get more information.

Drop-off sites will only accept donations of 2 large bags or less. Any donation larger than 2 bags must be dropped off directly at the Coat Drive Warehouse.
