You can get a brochure for parents or caregivers that provides facts about opioids, overdose, addiction and treatment for young people and adolescents experiencing opioid use disorder or addiction to painkillers or heroin.

The brochure includes:

  • An overview of different medications that are effective in treating opioid use disorder, such as buprenorphine and methadone 
  • Action steps to help a child experiencing opioid addiction or misuse
  • Resources for more information and support
