Social and Emotional Development Parent's Guide

You can get two "Promoting Your Child's Social and Emotional Development" pamphlets provided by the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, which provide information about the social and emotional development for your child.

These pamphlets include ways to support healthy development, to know when to be concerned, and what to expect.

The pamphlets are available for two age ranges:

1 to 5 years
5 to 10 years

The pamphlets are part of a publication series called “Building Healthy Foundations for a Lifetime of Success”.

Pamphlets are available in multiple languages.
