Minority and Women-Owned Business Enterprises (M/WBEs) that want to do business with New York City government can receive certification.

Each small business must be:

  • At least 51% owned, operated, and controlled by minority members and/or women
  • In business for at least 1 year
  • Located in New York City or have a significant tie to the City's business community

You can submit your M/WBE Certification application and check the status via the NYC Online Certification Portal. There is no fee to apply.

Corporate Alliance Program (CAP) partners can submit requests directly to the Program Manager for lists of qualified Minority and Women-Owned Business Enterprises (M/WBEs) for specific capabilities based on contract opportunities that arise.
