Students generally begin considering college plans in their Junior year of high school. They begin the college application process in the Fall semester of their Senior year of high school to attend college in the Fall semester of the following year.

If you are thinking about going to college, you should take the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) or the American College Testing (ACT) Assessment.

Each college has different admissions requirements. If you are not sure which test to take, talk with your high school guidance counselor or the colleges you are interested in attending.
