Businesses licensed by the Department of Consumer Affairs (DCA) must get approval from DCA when relocating. If you do not report the change of address, you are breaking the law and may get fined for every day you fail to make the update.

Some types of businesses must submit additional documentation, and some must submit a new application when they relocate.

You can submit a Change of Address request in person at the DCA Licensing Center. You may also be able to submit your request online using the DCA Business Toolbox.
