The Accessible Dispatch program connects individuals to wheelchair accessible taxis across the five boroughs.

The taxis are equipped with manual ramps that the driver lowers to the ground so that the wheelchair can roll into the taxi. Inside the taxi, the wheelchair is secured with firmly fixed securements that meet the requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act. Drivers are trained to assist the passenger with a disability and properly secure the wheelchair.

You can file a complaint with 311 if there is an issue with a driver.
