Coronavirus (COVID-19) Alert

The Parker Mosley Act protects New York residential customers from having their service terminated due to nonpayment during the COVID-19 state of emergency, currently set to expire on February 26, 2021.

After the state of emergency expires, NY residential customers who attest that they have experienced a change in financial circumstances due to the pandemic are also protected from having their service terminated through March 31, 2021 and will be offered a deferred payment agreement with no late payment charges or penalties.

You can request to start, stop or reconnect gas service. You can also request billing or meter information.

If you are a resident or business owner in the Bronx, Manhattan, and parts of Queens (Astoria and northeast Queens), you can get information about gas service and billing support from Con Edison.

If you are a resident or business owner in Brooklyn, Staten Island, and most parts of Queens, you can get gas service and billing support from National Grid.
