Coronavirus (COVID-19) Alert
For the health and well-being of older adults, all senior centers are closed. Senior Centers have transitioned activities and programs to a virtual program.
Contact your neighborhood senior center for information about specific programs.
Use Site Finder to search for a Senior Center. Contact them by phone. If you get the voicemail system, leave a message with your contact information and you'll get a call back.
Senior centers are no longer providing grab-and-go meals or direct meal delivery. DFTA’s congregate Direct Centralized Meal Delivery (DFTA Direct) has transitioned to the City's Emergency Home Food Delivery program.
Any senior looking for options on where and how to get food, including possible home delivery, should visit the Coronavirus (COVID-19) Resources and Support page.
You can submit feedback or make a complaint about GetFoodNYC Emergency Home Food Delivery. You can:
- Cancel or change your order
- Provide dietary restrictions
- Report that your delivery did not arrive
- Report that your order was damaged
- Report missing food
- Give feedback on the quality of the food
- Give feedback on the delivery driver
- Change your account information
Home Delivered Meals Program
If you are already receiving meals through DFTA's Home Delivered Meals program and are known to DFTA’s case management services, and need to submit feedback or a complaint, go to the Home Delivered Meals for Seniors page.
The Home Delivered Meals program provides one meal a day and is separate from DFTA Direct.
