You can report a street sweeper that did not follow a posted schedule or did not clean a street properly. This includes reports of parked cars that are blocking street sweeping operations during posted times.
Only reports about streets with posted alternate side parking (ASP) regulations are accepted. In order to make a report, you must provide the ASP days and time.
Reports are not accepted:
- Before or during the posted ASP time period
- When sweeping operations are stopped due to holidays, weather-related conditions, or other reasons.
There are no street cleaning (alternate side parking) regulations on Sundays. Complaints are not accepted on Sundays.
Call 311 to report missed or inadequate street cleaning.
What Happens Next
The Department of Sanitation responds to this type of report within 1 to 2 business days.
