Residents of Manhattan, Queens, Brooklyn, and the Bronx can receive professional medical assistance at home from a certified home health agency.

You can make a complaint about these in-home services to NYC Health and Hospitals.

You can make a complaint about Managed Long Term Care (MLTC) Medicaid funded home care services. Call the NYS Department of Health to do so.

This program provides in-home care for adults age 60 and older. This in-home care is meant to be in addition to the care provided by an older adult's family.

The home care attendant usually does not visit more than 4 hours a day, 5 days a week. Generally, there are no services during the weekend.

You can make a complaint about the home care service currently being provided through this program.

NYC Aging does not accept complaints about home care agencies that are funded by any other Managed Medicaid Long Term Care provider.
