You can file a complaint about businesses in New York City that advertise that they are going out of business or hold any sale involving a store closing.
Stores can only:
- Hold going out of business sales for a maximum of 90 days
- Advertise the store closure 30 days before closing
- Have the sale at the location that is being closed
