You can get information about scheduled water main shutdowns and planned large water disruptions.

The Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) usually notifies residents before water shutoffs by posting signs in the affected building or street. Shutoffs usually start around 8 AM and end by 6 PM but can go later in some cases.

The Department of Design and Construction (DDC) distributes notifications with contact information when they have a planned water shutdown.
