The Social Innovation Fund Family Rewards study is an initiative of the City's Center for Economic Opportunity.
Working with outside partners, the City is seeking families who:
- Live in the Bronx,
- Are receiving public assistance or SNAP (food stamps), and
- Have a child enrolled in 9th or 10th grade in a New York City public school
The study will offer cash incentives to selected participants for completing specific activities related to:
- Health
- Education
- Employment
Half of the families who sign up will be selected for an opportunity to earn up to $2,000 or more per year. All families who sign up for a chance to be in the program will receive a $23 MetroCard and may be contacted for a paid interview.
