General Vendor Distributors no longer need a Department of Consumer and Worker Protection (DCWP) license. Local Law 183 of 2025 ended this requirement. This is as of August 24, 2026.
As this is no longer a requirement, DCWP does not accept applications.
This repeal is only for General Vendor Distributors.
