Metal Detecting is restricted to the open fields and rough lawn areas in specific parks throughout the City.

The following City beaches allow metal detecting:

  • Orchard
  • Manhattan
  • Rockaway
  • South/Midland

Metal detecting is restricted to the open sandy areas under boardwalks in these beaches.
