The Geriatric Mental Health program helps connect older adults with mental health services.

Adults age 60 and older and their families can receive:

  • Mental health assessments and support
  • Individual, group, family, and couples psychotherapy

Services are available in Older Adult Centers (also known as Senior Centers). These were formerly known as Senior Centers. You do not have to be a member of an Older Adult Center to receive services.

You can find Older Adult Centers in all five boroughs. Services are often provided by bilingual social workers.
