Coronavirus (COVID-19) Alert

For the health and well-being of older adults, all senior center group programming and activities are cancelled until further notice.

Senior centers are no longer providing grab-and-go meals. Instead, meals are being delivered directly to the home of the senior center member. Contact your local senior center to learn more about this direct delivery system.

The Department for the Aging’s Geriatric Mental Health program is providing adults 60 and older and their families with:

  • Mental health assessments and support
  • Individual, group, family, and couple’s psychotherapy

Services are available on-site in Senior Centers throughout the City’s 5 boroughs and are often provided by bilingual social workers.
