Assisted Outpatient Treatment (AOT) helps mental health patients who don't follow their treatment plans and are a high risk to themselves or others.

The court orders the patient to follow a treatment plan. If they don't follow it, they must be put in a hospital.

You can contact the AOT program for your borough to refer a patient for treatment.
