    You can call, walk-in, or schedule a virtual appointment with Department of Housing Preservation and Development (HPD) Code Enforcement Borough Service Center staff to:

    • Learn about the Housing Maintenance Code and Multiple Dwelling Law
    • Check housing code violations at your property and learn how to address them
    • Get HPD complaint information
    • Reschedule an inspection appointment if you missed it
    • Get information about a scheduled inspection if you don't have the notice left by an inspector

    You can schedule an appointment online to speak with a representative from HPD’s Code Enforcement office either virtually or by telephone. While HPD pilots this new service, only a limited number of time slots will be available. HPD may adjust the number of time slots offered based on demand.

    Appointments are only on Wednesdays.
